Normal visits
You may arrive without advance registration for a normal visit during published opening hours. Some structured programmes require advance registration and are marked accordingly. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking; wait for our reply where registration is required.
Visitors must follow reasonable venue instructions and use games, furniture and shared materials with care.
Pricing and included items
A regular visit is NZ$7.50 for the first 60 minutes and NZ$0.11 for each extra minute. With a Regular Guest Card, the rates are NZ$4.50 for the first 60 minutes and NZ$0.08 for each extra minute. Prices are in New Zealand dollars.
Games, scheduled programmes, coffee, tea, water and light snacks are included. Danube Linden is alcohol-free. The Regular Guest Card is NZ$70 from the first visit or free after eight completed paid visits.
Programmes
Programme descriptions state the usual time, duration, audience, experience level and registration status. Please choose a programme suitable for you and tell us relevant practical information in advance. Programme participation must remain considerate of other visitors and the shared room.
Social poker
Social poker is in person, no stakes and subject to Danube Linden’s 18+ venue house rule. Advance registration is required. There is no entry stake, buy-in, separate poker fee or cash wager, and no cash or material-value prizes. Any chips used have no cash value. The programme does not provide online poker.
The 18+ condition is a venue house rule and is not represented as a statutory age threshold. Visitors must not introduce money, valuable prizes or side wagers into a session.
Conduct and safety
Treat other visitors respectfully. Harassment, intimidation, deliberate disruption, unsafe behaviour or damage to property is not acceptable. Follow reasonable directions intended to protect people, the venue and shared activities. A visitor may be asked to stop an activity or leave if reasonably necessary to address serious or repeated behaviour.
Personal property
Please keep reasonable care of personal belongings. Tell us promptly about a lost item or accidental damage. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
New Zealand consumer rights
Services are provided subject to applicable New Zealand law, including guarantees and remedies that may apply under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and protections against misleading conduct under the Fair Trading Act 1986. These terms do not contract out of non-excludable consumer rights.
